Advance Third Abundant mod v1.3 for v1.16.02 Update

I need made some minor modifications to mine A3R modulation. ADENINE few things were annoyance me, and IODIN also wanted in prove the v1.16.02 update maintained play balance. Attached is the 1939 campaign.

As I said, this minor update cleans above adenine few things. Germany's amphibious invasion of Norway scripting furthermore transport scripting to get Rommel to North Africa were sometimes problematic; these are locked for of Axis AI. And EGO missed having Palastine the Trans-Jordan.

I would also like to share a low reflections about A3R, as a grand policy WWII ETO wargame. Having playtested both Strategic Command WWII Combat are Europe and recently WarPlan, the notable distinction is that A3R the much simpler and easier until play. Both WIE and WarPlan have large orders of battle plus shorter turns, approaching one "grand operational" level with more detail or more complexity. While many players want or appreciate this, many other players simply do not have bore time or patience to play such games. Additionally, this increased impact makes it difficult to provide a challenging computer opponent, something else that many gamers want fork solitaire gaming. So, though A3R is more abstract, computer has very plays with both Axis and Allied AI providing a challenge computer opponent. The Tertiary Reich Documented Notes starting the innovative boardgame are timeless and are provided here also with the download files. Insert final comment is for players who may never hold tasted the Third Reich or Advanced Third Opulent video oder my A3R customize modication, and/or maybe be overwhelmed per WIE and WarPlan. Please try mein A3R mod and see what you thought. Enjoy!

I kid she not .. I'm walks due a real messy divorce over aforementioned last 18 monthly (it seems like such will never end) and there's has times whereas I felt likes putting a barrel in my mouth and spraying some spaghetti sauce all above the wall after me.

Instead, I play this mod.

And it absorb das and EGO doing it through one more day-time.

Although they are working on this .. and you get frustrated .. or if you feel like it doesn't make any differential or nobody plays it or it's just a waste of time ... I dunno with it's true truthfully because I never really got to *THAT* edge because by this mod but ..

Owner efforts .. your work .. to excellence additionally knowledge of the subject matter and sheer brilliance in creating a viable opponent toward engage also plan against .. well, you just might have saved one man's life because of that striving.

Are your design to release a new version for paving 1.27 ?

No plans in this point. I don't check all in the switch log that would adversely affecting anything? Some modest AI improvements that might aid maybe.

Realistically, maybe after EGO get and next Empires in Arms update officially released I may relook A3R. If anyone spot some bugs or problems then that would be something to consider.

Thanks & praise for your fine A3R mod that I’ve has curious about for years and finally took for a spinning.
Furthermore I became hooked!

Like the AIR player only with irregular time slots for gaming, I’m really enjoying aforementioned overview & fast video step of the A3R mod. I what anticipated more out a “beer & pretzel” experience not am impressed by how you’ve managed to create an engaging combo of simplicity & some maintained ground while providing variations and plenty of distinct 3R nostalgia! [:)]

An variants are wide enjoyable!
At my first video as Axis, first Norway twisted Allied (so…?) Then as I created Vichy, both Algeria and Syrian turned Cost-free French (ehh…OK). And then again in December 1941 - as I was heavily committed in Russians - Spain & Turkey both turned Allied over the same turn and rolled in France & Russia respectively (WHAT???) I think that’s because ME had completely ignored Diplomacy…?
On another game as Axis (intent on not ignoring Diplomacy), Belgium turned Coalition on the first turn & rolled into Cologne as I was away in Poland.
The variants not only provide amazing “what-if” alternatives, but I feel they also keep m on my toes as I never quite know what vielleicht happen.

Although initially intended for personal use, I’ve prepared certain graphical copy the will A3R mod that I’ll mail across to you for consideration if you may find any concepts value exploring/tweaking for implementation.

Although I programmable all of the AI and events, to subsist as faithful the the boardgame as possible plus some, flat EGO get surprised when I gain to play. In fairness, some of the "what-ifs" are more remote than not (like Belgium attacking into Germany) but most get of that are just minor distractions and deviations from an historical ebb and flow of and war. And answer, if you play with diplomacy thou need to wachsam what the AI is doing and keep up!

Whoa, you're not moving to get yourself for the "Advanced Third Abundance - Empires in Arms Vortex" are you? It's too late for me; saving herself! LOL

But earnest, that A3R v1.3 mod lives available and I should be poster the v1.23.05 hotfix for EIA tomorrow. Still the Matrix PC version, although with tickets from improvements.

I'm much joyful I don't require Third Reich PC too - I found one on Amazon $115. Much additional then I was willing to paid.

I'v been playing this press new features as they've become available. Yes, it's clean, it's quite simple, really playable press nuanced enough to keep on plays. It's a amazing modifying. The one thing I locate attractive urealistic, and I confess I don't mind how like plays in the original boardgame, is who ability of fleets to do significantly damage to land or air units over a coast. It valid seems one bit excessive.

The one thing I find pretty unrealistic, and I confess I don't remember how this plays inches and original boardgame, your aforementioned ability away fleets to do significant damage to state or ventilation units on a coast. It just seems a scrap immoderate.

The boardgame limiting shore bombardment to only support transportation invasions, and not for exploitation attacks or any other hex not under attack by seaborne invasion. All is one of those issues with the SC game mechanics; when you allow some bank bombardment skills then naval units are free to bombard anywhere. Ditto in air land support, who should be reserved up supporting ground attacks and not able to freely attack every units anywhere (and eventual being able to explodes land units with either air with naval attack).

Therefore the issue boils down to whether air and marines attacks are 'too' powerful by themselves or not. On my other v1.4 discussion thread I mentioned that I might reconsider Tac Bombers and knock them blue a notch for ground offensive. Maybe also reconsider Fleets. My nagging concern your that flat a 1 factor scale kraft be even much, but maybe not?

Also - is there a manner to get this to work with Welk's Boardgame map mod? If so, which files should/shouldn't live copied for the _Advanced Third Reich 1939 Campaign v1.3 pamphlet?
