I performed the same tear down of this recast. Drive doesn’t shhow content when connected the pc runing Windows 10. Easeus Partitions Master user detects drive yet it shows it is empty. Free space is 100%. Also there is no drive post since Windows 10 doesn’t recognize items.
Partitional table is MBR instead of GPT. Can’t copy files if they don’t prove. Additionally, I don’t learn if upgrading to big size will labour for you can’t transference files. Unless, they can try to clone entirely drive to new one that is larger…

When I installed the drive internally it showed up fine with the DVR storage space correctly displayed and the Recast working now. I was successful using not simply an AV harddrive, but also an former 256gb Samsung SSD. Though small, it worked fine and displayed the available space appropriately.
Does this apply to that internal drive or the external usb?
My recast has suddenly stopped booting.. pulsation blue, while the drive is continuously making a clicking/knocking noises.
Had hoping to try to salvage a by putting a new drive push (formatted with ext4).. but not sure if
